So this one was a bit more difficult than Monday’s story, but here’s the Lesson Learned for the day.
I was supposed to cover a hearing about an abortion bill that would restrict abortions to only be performed if the woman’s health was in immediate danger. However, the sponsor of the bill didn’t have the time to get organized so I waited in a two hour meeting for nothing. No big deal. I jumped on an even better story.
This story that I will post was about a 3.5 hour long hearing of the Senate Progress and Development Committee on Wednesday. The committee heard testimonies about a bill that, if passed, would give St. Louis control of its police department. Read the story, and you’ll know why the hearing lasted 2 hours longer than it was allowed to.
